PRIMROSE FARMS PORK IS
RENOWNED FOR ITS DELICIOUS
TASTE, TENDERNESS AND QUALITY.

Animals are fed a wholesome diet of
vegetable grains including barley, wheat,
corn and soy. Pigs raised for Primrose
Farms are not fed any growth hormones,
animal by-products, ractopamine or any
other feed additives such as Dried
Distillers Grains (DDG).

Canada’s on-farm food safety
and animal care for pork is governed
by the Canadian Quality Assurance®
(CQA) program. CQA® promotes
best-management practices for animal
care and the safety of pork including
traceability. While not every farm in
Canada carries the CQA® designation, it
is mandatory for all Primrose Farms
producers, ensuring their commitment
to food safety and quality.
